Penn Battle II Spinning Combos feature the popular corrosive resistant Penn Battle Reels matched with a Penn Battle Rods. Regardless if you’re fighting a big redfish or a bull mahi, these combos can take the abuse and last for years to come.

Penn Battle II Spinning Reels feature a full metal body, side plates and rotor for exceptional durability. The machined and anodized aluminum Superline Spool features a rubber gasket so there is no need for mono backing or tape, allowing anglers to tie superlines directly to the spool. A sealed HT-100 drag system provides smooth drag under heavy loads to eliminate pulled hooks from other erratic, jerky drags.

Battle II Spinning Combos feature the Penn Battle Rods constructed with a one-piece graphite composite Battle Rod (two-piece for surf models) complete with stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts. The handle is created from a graphite reel seat and sculpted EVA or cork grips.
